ABATE OF OHIO PROGRAMS

ABATE of Ohio Points Program

• 1 – for riders with the highest yearly mileage (top 3 people in each region, verified

by county/region officer)

• 1 – for attending region board meetings

• 1 – for being a member of any other motorcycle rights organization (MRF, AMA, etc:

1 point each)

. 1 – for attending region or county meetings

.2 – for attending an out-of-region function

.2 – for county reps and officers for getting membership renewals

• 2 – for each member you sign up for ABATE of Ohio, Inc.

• 3 – for attending a state function, run to Columbus, etc

• 5 – for signing up a business sponsor.

• 5 – for voluntarily working at an ABATE of Ohio, Inc. function

• 5 – for being a licensed instructor of a rider education course

• 5 – for voting

• 5 – for being an appointed or elected officer

• 5 – for receiving a reply from an elected official you’ve written to (show reply to

county/region rep)

• 5 – for completing Red Cross First Aid, CPR (must verify completion)

• 5 – for taking the rider education course (must pass course)

Awards in the Points Program are presented at the 30, 50, and 80 points levels and the points accumulate from January through December. Members may accumulate points toward an award –
